Steve is a veteran of the community news business having been with the company since its origination in 1982. He was one of two founding partners in Community Publishers, Inc. after previous professional experience with Tribune Company, Chicago, and other newspaper companies. Steve holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Oklahoma.
Mike has been with CPI since 1983. He has previously served as publisher at the company's newspapers in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Mike holds a BSE degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Dave has been in CPI management since 1999 after previously serving with three of the company's newspapers in Missouri since 1977. He is publisher of the eight CPI newspapers that surround Springfield. Dave holds a BA degree from Missouri State University and resides in Bolivar.Roger W. Frye
Systems and Technology Director
Roger has been with CPI since 1987, holding various newsroom management positions before being promoted to lead the information technology department in 1994. Roger holds a BA in Journalism and graduate hours in newsroom management from the University of Oklahoma. He also has an MBA from the University of Arkansas.
Chief Financial Officer
Tom started with CPI in 2003 after previously serving as controller for a Gannett-owned newspaper in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Tom holds BS and MBA degrees from Florida Atlantic University.
David E. Guay
Corporate Production Director
A 24+ year veteran of the print production and operations industry, David joined CPI in August 2013. He previously held production management positions for Howard Publications, Lee Enterprises and CNHI. He currently heads up CPI's printing division, Nowata Printing Company. David holds an AS in Business from State University of NY @ Empire State.
Jamey has 24 years of newspaper management. He had 15 years of publishing experience at four newspapers before joining CPI in 2011. He has managed newspapers in Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico, and South Carolina. He now publishes seven community newspapers and a business journal in the Tulsa area. Jamey attended Henderson State University for a BA degree in Mass Communications.
